World Financial Group sponsored the fan favourite TSN Curling Skins Game this weekend, Jan. 7-8, from Casino Rama in Rama, ON. The annual invitational event featured four of the best curling teams in the world — current world champion Jeff Stoughton, along with Kevin Martin, Kevin Koe and Glenn Howard — skips of the last four Canadian teams to win world championships — competing for a $75,000 (CD) prize. After the postponement of the Badlands Dinosaur Derby in Drumheller, Alberta because of inclement weather, the 2011 World Professional Chuckwagon Association (WPCA) resumed its 2011 season with the North American Chuckwagon Championship in High River, Alberta. Among the drivers seeking the championship at the event, which ran from June 23-26, was World Financial Group (WFG)-sponsored chuckwagon driver Buddy Bensmiller. Dewberry, Alberta, is the home of World Financial Group (WFG)-sponsored chuckwagon racer Buddy Bensmiller. Buddy returned to his hometown to compete in the Dewberry World Chuckwagon Races, a World Professional Chuckwagon Association exhibition event, on June 3 to June 5. The 2010 World Professional Chuckwagon Association season started May 25 at the Grand Prairie (AB) Stompede. Among the competitors was World Financial Group (WFG)-sponsored chuckwagon driver Buddy Bensmiller. In 2010, Buddy finished second in the overall standings and he had a good showing in Grand Prairie last season.
