The World Professional Chuckwagon Association held its 2010 Awards Banquet on October 23 in Calgary. This annual banquet is, per the WPCA website, “… [to] honor those who achieved greatness this past season, as well as those who have contributed to the growth and prosperity of [the sport].”

Among the award winners was World Financial Group-sponsored chuckwagon driver Buddy Bensmiller. He won the 2010 WPCA Clean Drive Award. With this win, Buddy extends his record of most Clean Drive awards with five. This is also his first win in this category since 2004.

And that’s not all. Buddy’s outrider horse, “Sir,” won one of two Champion Outriding Horse awards at the Awards ceremony. No word on whether “Sir” was able to collect his award in person (or is that “in horse”?). Regardless, congratulations to Buddy and “Sir” from your friends at WFG!
